I am taken by you

In awe of you

Consumed by your every word

Taken by your wonderful voice

And the conversations that we hold

Bring joy to my life and I feel peace

For when we speak I am gripped with tranquility

And I can feel you gentle touch laid upon me

And the likeness of your face

Puts me in a comfortable place

For when I look at you

I see a beautiful man I like, of whom

You see me in a way no one ever has

And now alas

I have someone who looks to the inner me

Someone who truly does see

I am taken by you

In awe of you

For when I need you

When I need it the most

You become a wonderful host

Of whom listens and lends an ear

One who is far, yet is very near
